A New Dinosuar Discovery

A New Dinosaur Discovery

The article is about a newly discovered species of dinosaur called the Eosinopteryx or 'bird-dinosaur'.  The feathered dinosaur reinforces the theory that birds are the direct descendants of dinosaurs.  Although it had feathers the creature still could not fly due to a short wingspan and incorrect bone structure.  The thirty centimeter dinosaur was found in north-east China had toes suited for walking and a few feathers on its legs and tail, which would help for running.  So do you think the birds evolved from dinosaurs?eosinopteryx

  1. I thought your article was really interesting! I love going to the science museum and looking at the dinosaur section because it always fascinates me! I found another article relating to your article about dinosaurs called, "Bird-From-Dinosaur Theory of Evolution Challenged: Was It the Other Way Around?" by researcher John Reuben. John Reuben explains how his evidence now shows the possibility that some species now believed to be dinosaurs may have descended from birds. Dr. Reuben has the different thought that birds may have had an prehistoric common ancestor with dinosaurs, but they evolved independently on their own path, and after millions of years of separate evolution birds also gave rise to the raptors. He believes that small animals such as velociraptors that have generally been thought to be dinosaurs are more credible in being flightless birds. Overall, this article just adds a new angle to your article from a different point of view and is really fascinating!
