Puny Plastic Particles Mar Lake Erie’s Waters

In Lake Erie there are tiny plastic particles that are to be toxic pollutants.  Plastics get waved down or heated by the sun causing it to become particles.  These plastics particles make up 80% of the samples found in Lake Erie.  The results about the danger to organisms in the lake are unknown.

  1. I also found an article that talks about pollution in Lake Erie. It is the most polluted body of water on the earth. The pollution is drastically harming the fishing ecosystem in areas around the lake. It is also harming recreational use of the lake.
